LUCKY's Pub Phokeng

A mate and I popped into Lucky's Pub & Grill in Phokeng, locally this style of Pub and Grill is know as "Shisa nyama". This is one of the famous local entertainment places in Phokeng, the town surrounding the Royal Bafokeng Stadium. By the end of this Soccer World Cup, the world will know about it and would've experienced the hospitality township style.

Forget about your local pub like the Knight & Swan this is something completely different. Basically on offer is meat and drinks. You go...

Week ending 30 April - 2 May 2010

Just 38 days to go before South Africa host the biggest sporting event in the world - the 2010 Soccer World Cup. On Saturday our son Liam decided to try his hand (or should that be foot) at the beautiful game – according to his coach he is a natural. This was a great day to photograph the youngsters, we had some sunshine, and their very colourful kit certainly made lovely photo's.
